Brenda Kay Wolfgram Moore is the hand behind both. Even if you don't have any ancestors within a hundred miles, the images are wonderfully fetching.

Harold, your blog is a treasure, especially for those of us researching our Midwestern roots AWAY from the area! I've learned about so many great sites and blogs through yours. Your post of April 17 had me salivating with anticipation as I look forward to digitized Michigan death records AND the Grand Rapids Herald being available online.
