The Demanding Genealogist by Barbara J. Mathews of Connecticut (methodology) -- for instance, "Playing Dominos: The Illumination of the Non-Authoritative."
Deb's Delvings by Debbie Parker Wayne of Texas (specializing in law and genetics) -- for instance, "Research, Proof Standards, and DNA Testing" -- also her posts on these topics on the Transitional Genealogists Forum.
Both blogs are by Certified Genealogists, but the reason they're both high up on my home page is that I never read them without learning something.

Thanks for the recommendation, Harold. I feel the same way about your blog. And you are much better at being concise than I am.
We have an embarrassment of riches now with the great genealogical blogs available. I know I am feeling much less isolated as the community keeps in touch using blogs and other online tools.
I discovered Barbara's blog a few weeks ago and enjoy her take on research. In addition to my standby go-to blogs such as your Midwestern Microhistory (which has the coolest title), Amy Coffin's We Tree, and Paula Stuart-Warren's Genealogical Eclectica, I've recently discovered Marian Pierre-Louis's Roots and Rambles. I could name a dozen others I never miss, even if it takes a while to catch up after busy research trips.
